you need to have some stuff going on in the mid range for the actual melody and have the robot thing be more of an accent rater than your wobble (have your wobble play just like the robot did)
UNLESS you were going for the minimalistic and way more original rout

i was trying to keep it simpler but i do agree it sounds like somethings missing.
mabey a synth chorus between every few bars or something?

im thinking to make a really clean wobble and have it do exactly what the robot did. (same pattern)

then add a synth. i dont think you need vocals

then have the robot say yeah every 8 16 or 32 beats. or whatever sounds right

yeah i could do that, just make a new operator with a clean wobble and map the rate to the same knob that im using to make the wobble speak as my other operator.

also i found a really cool tutorial on making melodies with synth leads i wanna try out but he doesnt go into detail about setting up the synth at all. is there any synth tools inside ableton to be used?

    ive never touched ableton. sorry.

i know there were some nice ones on dubspot's youtube.

also, i think a wobble like this would suit the minimalistic feel youre going for

sounds kind of dull :/ ... you might want to make it longer... and add the wobble.
