    Default Club sound system design

well Ive been given the wonderful opportunity to outfit the bar/club i work at with a new speaker system. it holds roughly 600 people the main dance floor holds about 450 and is about 75X55 roughly. 25 foot ceilings this is what i was thinking:

    4 JBL SRX 715's (800 watts at 8ohms)

2 QSC RMX4050HD's for the tops

The bar has 2 SRX728's (dual 18's) i was going to add two more
    total of 4 SRX728's

2 Crown XTI 6000's for the lows.

options from any knowledgeable audiophiles would be great

    thanks

I'd go with Turbosound or Meyer Sound System speakers. Some of the best speakers setup's I've ever heard used either of these. Never really been a fan of JBL(Jangly But Loud)

Just put a bunch of smoke and foam machines and keep the alcohol cheap. Shit will get famous in no time.

Rip out all the JBL and replace them with a Funktion One suite Crown does make a nice amp from what I've read, but I would really suggest consulting a pro on what to buy, and if you can afford it, an acoustic engineer. I know from experience that placement is just as important as the gear you get.

Great speakers can sound like crap in an un-tuned space.
