Traktor 3 question

Just a question.
I run Traktor 3.3 and have a audio 8 DJ soundard.
I set the external mixer mode, and in the routing there is a Preview OUT chanell. I want to use it when mixing at home but i get no sound out of it, no mater wich chanell from my soundcard i chose. So
What kind of channel is it?How does it work? Is it the same as the "preview" channel as in internal mixer mode.Does it work the same?
In internal mixer mode i have no problems.

Are you loading the track into a Deck for Cue-ing or into the preview box over the different playlist/track collection/search menu? That's where the preview out works, and it worked for me on 7/8. If you want to do internal mixing you're better off changing the routing.

oh i got it now. Thx i was hopeing to mix externaly but still cue on my audio 8 dj so my other partner could use cueing on the mixer.

nah, that won't work. You can get a Headphone splitter and as long as you have the volume down on the appropriate channel you'll be fine
