How are we going to handle samples and loops?

• Only sample stuff in the official song list.
• You can use a set number of samples outside of the official song list, say maybe three or four.
• Samples and loops are free reign as long as they're under 32 beats (the S4 limit).

This sounds like a most excellent contest, it will be my first, but I'm in. As for samples, my vote is keep everything to the tracklist.

i wanna argue that 'amen brother' by the winstons should be in the list as that sample is the basis of a lot of hiphop....

though i am thinking that maybe allowing one 'signature' sample should be allowed, just as a personal flourish for each mix....?
