    Default Custom Dicers

Sooo if we at DJTT decided to do a limited run of Dicers what color would you guys prefer?

Please keep in mind only the top part of the plastic would be painted, the bottom would stay black.

I think some sparkly colors would be cool.

    royal purple/gold metallic flake

to match my bottle of Crown Royal and its little purple bag.

    Kidding.

Silver would be great, but I see white ones having more mass appeal. I have 1210's, so black's okay with me though.

I really hoped that DJTT would sell some silver Dicers to match T1200's. Left it a bit late, haven't you? And WHY only the top half of the dicer???

Would the Novation/Dicer writing still be visible? I'd like to see this in BLACK on a Silver Dicer.

P.S - I've already shelled out £80 for my Dicers. Any chance you could sell JUST the cases/top half of the case?

The bottom half would double the cost of painting - meaning the customer is going to pay more, and all the bottom half being painted would achieve is the small section below the connectors would match - personally I think in the context of silver this would look nice. The top half accounts for 95% of the viewable area anyway. We would also mod the LEDs from crappy red and light green to hyper red and blue. This better matches the lighting on 1200s, looks way doper in the club and allows a mix from red through pink, purple, then blue.

Using the standard SSL config this gives page 1 blue, page 2 red, page 3 pink.

    The pink is super dope!

Selling modded parts really just is not a viable option for us - the margin is very low on this product.

The poll options should probably have read - White (Eans choice) Silver (my choice)

The problem with white gear is, it gets grubby REAL quick. Silver will not get so grubby so quickly.

I'd prefer the Silver Dicer with Green/Amber/Red LEDs. 1200's/1210's have Red strobes and Green pitch lock/speed indicators...

Looking at my Dicers now I see what you mean about just the top half being Silver/White, and I agree - that WILL match 1200's nicely.

I'm pretty gutted that I shelled out back when Dicers were released - but I couldn't wait until DJTT made good on their promise of alternative coloured Dicers.
