    I think the bloggie is a little better made, but the Kodak has a few more features.

    I like the bloggie personally, but not liking the fact that it's only 8gb of internal memory (will probably end up being like 7.5gb or something after data and shit.) The Kodak is upgradeable to 32gb. Still unsure! Anybody else?

    Truthfully, get a DSLR that records HD video. The quality of your videos will shine!

    The Canon 60D is the nuts because it has the flip out viewfinder which is invaluable.

    If you're on a budget the 550D also shoots amazing quality video but doesn't have the flip out viewfinder

    Trust me they will be head and shoulders above those little things.

    You can then get that really nice shallow depth of field look on your videos

    Go on vimeo and do a search for 550D and 60D, loads of nice test shots.

    here's a video from who is a DOP who shoots a lot on DSLR

    [ame="http://www.vimeo.com/7412515"]Venice's People: Canon 7D 24p on Vimeo[/ame]

    This is shot on the 7D which has the exact same spec as the 550D just a better body build

    look into the flip.
    you can have your own stuff printed on it too. or just keep it black or white.

    i think the most expensive model is $200 and the cheapest is about $150

    Hey dude, if those the only two you have to choose from i would go with the kodak, simply because HD vid consume HUGE amounts of memory.

    Generally i noticed that the sony camcorder had problems focusing while moving around, something that the kodak did less of (still did though). Also i think the kodak has stronger in camera features.

    Not gonna be going with the DSLR camera. Looking for a budget, HD pocket camcorder to carry around with me at the Ultra Music Festival... capture some moments, but mainly capture the huge new tracks I'll be seeing for youtube later on, lol.
