    Default External Mixing over Ustream?

I'm having some trouble getting my setup to working with ustream, I'm hoping someone here might be able to help.

I'm currently running an external mixer back into my 5/6 channels on my Audio8 for recording purposes. How would I go about routing those channels into soundflower to work over ustream?

I'd already found this. Seems to be written with internal mixing in mind.

Run a line into the audio in on the computer. May need a splitter and RCA to 1/4" cable.

I'm trying to do this without re-routing back into my internal sound card. I know it has to be possible. I just can't seem to grasp the concept of how soundflower works.

The reason you can't get it working with soundflower is that soundflower isn't made for that because it's not necessary.

You run your mixer's output back into 5/6 on your audio8…so just send that input to ustream. You do that in the ustream setup, wherever it is…just like you would route a physical input to, well, anything.

Soundflower is for routing audio between programs on your computer.

I finally got this working by using Jack for mac.

The problem with selecting the audio8dj in the ustream settings, is that it didn't let me pick a channel. It automatically picked up the timecode signal on 1&2.
