So if I go xone 92 im assuming there are knobs u dont need that u can assign effects too sens it has none? Whats up with the db4? I just wana mix 4 channles 2 on my techs two with ean goldens oxygen mapping. Have money saved and am ready to buy. My main goals are too loop things and layer different loops on top of eachother cue point juggle a bit mash up tracks a mix tracks either with eq or cool effects. I have alot to learn but im not concerned about droping cash for the gear, im 22 and only bills are rent and utilitys, plus I have two jobs.

bedroomdj, I would disregard this statement by exokinetic. This is mentioned nowhere in the specs of the DJM 700 and DJM 800 mixers you are considering. In fact, from reading the specs, it appears pretty likely that the low knob is peaking at 70Hz, the mid knob is peaking at 1kHz, and the high knob is peaking at 13 kHz.

Buy the xone 92 that's what I have been using for the last
Four years and is still going strong.

I have used Pioneer mixers in the past and was not that impressed
With the sound quality to be honest, a bit flat sounding compared to
    Xone 92

Ok so the the pioneers got effects, but if your gonna be using Traktor
    Then xone wins hands down.

Buy the xone you won't regret it!

Xone:92, can't beat 4 band EQs and their awesome filters. Even better if you can find one with the Rotary knobs instead of the faders

If you're worried about controlling FX, just invest in a NanoKontrol and have it dedicated for FX's only. At the 50 bucks it costs it's well worth it

So what do the filters do? Are they not the same as a normal filter effect, nd I think id rather just buy a kontrol x1 than a nano... Has anyone used ean goldens oxygen mapping, from the tutorial it seems like itl do what I want but im just wondering if anyone has expierence with it and knows better than me. I just want to control decks c and d with a controller.

The Xone has two filters, but it's the quality of the filters that stands out and how you can configure it with the lowpass/highpass/bandpass buttons.

And I really do think the Nano would be far better just for controlling the FX than the X1. It has many more controls than an X1 and is a quarter of the price.

If u really want to spend that amount of money, go for the -Xone:92-
then u could use the Kontrol X1's since they were meant for traktor in mind by the people who made traktor.

Ive checked out some of ur other posts and have to say, if ur not really playing out much and just need a 4 channel mixer thats versatile... DDM4000
