Club Event Question

Hey everyone I am in the process of planning my first event at a local bar. I am going to have a meeting with the bar manager sometime next week and want to have some basic info and questions down before I go in. Basically all I have set in stone is that it is going to be a House music night and it is going to be on a wednesday (that's when they usually have their other house music nights).

Basically what I want to know is what should I already know and be able to present to her in the meeting, also what are some question I should ask of her.

I've read the posts on hosting your own club night, but just wanted to see what everyone else has to say.

Here are a few questions just off the top of my head:

1. Is the PA provided? If so is there a sound engineer running it all night or is that your responsibility? What inputs are available to the DJ on stage for their gear(RCA, XLR, TRS, etc). Is there a microphone provided.

2. What type of turnout do you get normally on Wednesdays. Do you have a promoter that will promote my event or is that for me to do only. Is there a cost of admission for attendees or a drink minimum.

3. Do I get a guest list with the event. Do we get free drink or meal tickets. Is there a green room or space for the artists.

4. Do we get a cut of the door is there is an admission price? Do we get a percentage of the bar? Is there a set payment for the artists if neither is the case?

5. What time is load in? Do we have to sound check before.

6. Lastly I would ask for any advice from the manager. Its their career and full time job and you never know what tips or tricks they could give you.
