Default An Education in MIDI Controller Construction

This guy's Flickr sets are an awesome tutorial on how to practically package and design MIDI controllers internally. Looking at the images close up there's some great insights into how he places his controls, wires them into small testable groups and covers all exposed contacts on his wiring using hot glue and modelling plastic (he's obviously been bitten in the past). His bus wiring is fantastic and it gives his devices a really solid construction. He's even got pictures of making his own optical Jog wheel out of a harddrive spindle and laser cutting his own illuminated button caps.

Wow! That JUNKbox and TMC II look really awesome... Might go looking into my old junk trunks, to see if I still have my old c64.
