    Default Looking for a subwoofer

Right now I've got a speaker setup consisting of two KRK Rokit 6's and I'm routing both of those from my Audio 2 DJ.

I'm wondering if I can hook up an external, powered subwoofer somehow into that system so I can just get some more, completely unnecessary, bass.

I know it's frivolous but I'm just wondering if that's possible given the setup i've described

You could get a KRK 10" sub to match your monitors. You would take the cables from your Audio 2 that are going to your monitors and connect them to the ins on the sub. Then take new cables from the outs on the sub and run them to your monitors.

your actually routing your audio 2 into your KRK's....

but anyway, like mentioned above, or any sub that has a throughput will work

I've actually been curious about this too.

Could you connect, say a PA sub to studio monitors? (I know that it's going to color the sound and all that, but can you do it?)
