id go with wordpress if i was you and add some flash in it if u want.

Actionscript the language behind flash is pritty easy if you have done some programming before just depends how much time you want to sink into the site

as far as simplicity and easy-to-update goes out of the platforms we have all mentioned, you cant beat wordpress. all your updates are done through a web interface (which they call a dashboard) rather than having to code every new bit of info in flash or html and then uploading the new ages to the server.

way less tedious, and there are wordpress apps for apple and android mobile devices so you can update when ever/ where ever you feel like it.

I've been going over WordPress themes for the past hour or so. They seem so plain to me. Anyone have any suggestions for flashy WordPress themes? I'm going to keep searching for a bit - but i've found one Flash template I really really like so if I can't find a WordPress one I like equally i'll be using the flash one.

And on Template Monster if I picked up a paid template, it has an option for like little less then double the price to actually get installation from them as well. So I am just curious, is WordPress hard to setup? To be honest, the only thing that i'm scared of with the Flash is editing like the templates name and buttons right before I make the site go live. The content and stuff I don't think will be a problem to edit at all.

Seem to have my mind really set on Flash for some reason. Probably cause it's flashy. But I am seriously looking into getting a Word Press template if I can find one I like.

I use wordpress for my website but I created the theme from scratch.

There are some nice free themes on http://wpshower.com/.

Yeah, i've been looking through a ton of WordPress sites for the past couple hours. I feel like I can create my own site and make it look just like the WordPress templates. I am pretty sure now i'm sticking with a Flash site.

Thanks for your reply though Curious People .

Don't use flash - people on ipads/iphones wont be able to view your website.

I thought there was a way to make it so that if its accessed by an iphone / ipad or blackberry or whatever it can redirect it straight to a HTML or something.

If that's not the case, then I will stick with WordPress.

The development is fine, is there an app or a program or anything that I need? so it recognizes the different platforms?
