Default Best way to solve a USB issue

In my live setup, I will be suing Ableton to incorporate my own music into sets.

I'll be using a Launchpad, LPD8, LPK25 and VCI-100 as controllers. I also have an AUdio2DJ and a USB mouse.

My issue is, that I only have 4 USB ports on my laptop. I have 6 on my PC, so no problems when rehearsing in my home studio.

What's the best way to use the 6 items with 4 USB ports? And, there's no question of not using any as the complete control from 4 controllers over Ableton is immense and almost limitless live possibilities!
Ableton 9.7.5, Native Instruments Komplete Ultimate 11, MOTU 828 Mk2, Nektar Impact LX61+, Ableton Push, Native Instruments Kore 2, and a random selection of soft synths and sample libraries.
Windows 10 Pro 64 bit with Core i7 4960X Extreme Edition 12 core CPU, 64GB RAM, SanDisk Ultra Extreme SSDs and a GeForce GTX 970 G1 Gaming GPU.

Powered USB hub perhaps? Your controllers on the Hub, Audio card on it's own USB port.

    So, something like this maybe:

    7 Port Powered USB Hub

Or would it be worth going for a more reliable maker? Or much of a sameness apart from the brand name?

I just bought the one from the apple store. It's worked just fine for me. You can use it both as powered, or non powered, and its got 7 usb ports on it. So in total I have 8 USB ports on my MacBook Pro. 7 from the hub, and one extra one on the MacBook itself.

    Some good USB reading

And finally the confirmed dual TT hub thread

I use the F4U017 with a S4, X1, Midi Fighter, and a Maschine with no problems. The Maschine is new though so I can't really comment on it in the system.
