simple ableton help

my friend and i are DJing some house parties coming up and i got an akai lpd-8 and i want to use it with ableton minimally. i dont want to produce yet but i want to do minimal live mixes of samples and techno beats between actual songs. do you know any tutorials i can read to explain that. just load up some simple dance loops and trigger them with the lpd.

You need to map it within ableton, the ableton faq should point you in the right direction.
