Ain't nothing wrong with spending $900 if you're sure you'll take DJing seriously.

As long as you don't change your mind next year and sell all your gear for 10% of the price, it's better to spend more cash.

If you spend $300 then realise you need to learn better gear to play out anywhere you'll only go and spend $900 more on real gear. Total = $1200

Do an acid test to see if you're the real deal though!

Don't DJ for the poon taaaang attention or being some kind of booth star. Only music nuts can really DJ, and no one else. No one else but music nuts.

Well, if you look at the dimensions of that "funny looking" stand and take that as your target or minimum size. I'm sure you will not have any trouble finding another you find a "serious looking" stand .

Yeah, I saw that post. Just wait until he has emailed NI, and NI has deactivated the serial #. I was pretty sure you could install it on two computers at once... but that may just be under the same username. Anyway i'm sure (and hope) it'll be resolved soon .
