Thought I'd dig this up since I just got back from the thrift store.

    Diana - Diana Ross
Thomas Dolby - She Blinded Me With Science (single)
Kool Moe Dee - How Ya Like Me Now?
    Morris Day - Fishnet (single)
Rick James - Super Freak (single)
    Whoodini - Funky Beat (single)
    Elton John - Greatest Hits
Stevie Wonder - Hotter Than July
and one of my all time favorite albums (so geeked!)
The English Beat - I Just Can't Stop It, or if you're English I guess it's just The Beat.
Not bad @ 99 cents each. My daughter and I got into an argument over who found the Adam Ant and New Order albums first, of course I'll always loose.

I just raided my local record store. Almost everything in the store is priced at 1$ for singles and 3$ for an Album. They pull out what the think is worth money and overprice it. Thankfully they don't really know what people are looking for these days they just go by what sells to collectors.

I picked up an excellent condition copy of Thriller for 3$. I know this isn't rare but it's getting harder and harder to find these days especially with his death collectors have been snatching these up on ebay like hot cakes. I'll hold onto mine though :P Also picked up a few Whitney albums, Prince, Lionel Richie, Queen and a few others just for my personal collection. All in all spent 15$ after I haggled him down on a few of them cause the sleeves were kinda messed up.

It's sad because this store isn't a record store. It's a hobbyist store that happens to buy/sell/ records and they have quite a few (3000+). They don't store them properly and there are tons of crates tucked behind other crates and under tables that I have slowly started to go though. Thankfully the don't seem to mind me tearing the store apart as long as I don't leave it a mess and actually buy something.
