    Parents, or almost parents on this forum will probably like this one, so I thought I'd share this with you:

    ScienceDaily (Jan. 27, 2009) — Researchers at the Institute for Psychology of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and the Institute for Logic, Language and Computation of the University of Amsterdam demonstrated that two to three day old babies can detect the beat in music.

    damn straight my kids would rock out to Depeche Mode or Morrissey/Smiths when they were in the womb. They would kick when they heard music

    This doesn't surprise me tbh, there have been many times my brain left me and all i had left was beat appreciation
    Save money on binoculars - Simply move closer to the object you intend to view!

    Goldie even managed to do that to me, without the use of excessive alcohol or anything.

    this is interesting, i wonder if it has anything to do with the heartbeat, that being one of the primary focusses of the tiny baby-brain
