    Default UK Customs - Advice

I ordered a midi fighter a few weeks ago and get regular updates from USPS. The most recent one looks like this:

Shipment Activity Location Date & Time
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Attempted Delivery GREAT BRITAIN 03/04/11 9:10am
    Abroad
At Foreign Delivery GREAT BRITAIN 03/04/11 5:02am
    Unit

Out of Foreign Customs GREAT BRITAIN 03/03/11 11:08am

According to this they attempted delivery today at 9:10am? Is this correct? I've been in my house all morning and never received any post or a knock at the door.

Can anyone who has dealt with UK customs offer some advice. Should I be contacting someone about this?

According to the tracking customs has cleared it. The issue likely lies with the post office. It's not impossible that the post man simply couldn't be arsed to ring the bell. I would contact the local Royal Mail sorting office. Not sure how much luck you will have on a Saturday but they may be open 9am-12pm...

Also, check around to see if any kind of note has been left for you by the post office.

Thanks for all the advice guys. I'll get onto the post office and see if I can track it down.

@tombruton69 - I haven't got the card yet to tell me how much the tax will be but I did check online with a tax calculator and it estimated around £22 so I'll let you know how close it is to that.

@jamthrax - It's not good mate. I just wished mine was here as I'm fed up waiting. It's gonna be a long weekend I think.

My letter arrived to from the Royal Mail. They want £24.19 of me. So all in the Midi Fighter has cost me £130.72. Not too bad. I'll have it on Monday
