Does anyone know where I can cop a legitimate version of "Club Soda" by Thomas Bangalter?? Track is so dope, but I can only find sketchy web sites hosting it.
So this is kind of a recommendation as well as an inquiry..
By legitimate, you mean that you want to pay for it? Don't know about that but I found tons of them on mooslo.
Track really does have a great hook and sound to it. But whats with all the seemingly random frequency cuts, etc? There's no timing to it, and it's not even on the beat. It's like he's just randomly cutting frequencies by turning EQ knobs. Reminds me of one of those DJ's who loves to ruin perfectly good music... Ok, I'm done.
Seriously though, it does have a dope sound to it. I'm considering using it, but it would require some cue juggling to fix it. For me, at least...

Yeah - and by paying for it I'd be assured it's of the highest quality!
You're right, the random EQ cuts are interestingly-timed. But as he's one half a little group called Daft Punk, I'm going to assume he knows what he's doing haha
The whole time I was sitting here listening to it, I was thinking "gee, that bass riff sure sounds a lot like Daft Punk..."
No wonder.
Trust your ears my friend. Keep spinning. Peace and good luck to ya!
