Well Aged...
Well.. My sl1200 twins will be 27 in may..
But I started early...
Before I had the twins I listened to and practised with older (DJ) friends and was influenced with their end 70's disco, Giorgio Moroder, Patrick Cowley and the yearly grandmixes by Ben Liebrand from 1982 till 1992.
Have been out of DJ'ing several times due to lack of time and other adult problems..
Back on Track because of mp3's, traktor and the S4 and having fun with them on the Island.

I just turned 34. When I was 17 a friend and I went halvesies on a Radio Shack mixer from the swap meet. We had no clue what we were doing but I knew I had to learn how to scratch. We then met a kid with a real setup and I got a job djing at the Skate Depot in Cerritos, CA. Bought my first setup in 97 and got into breaks around that time. It has been a really expensive hobby since... but I don't golf or have a boat so it probably all evens out in the end.
The S4 and Midifighter combo reminds me how excited I was to learn to manipulate music, back in the day. My high but attainable goal now is to gig out at a dive bar sometime this year.
