    Default "Well aged" DJs. Represent.

Being 37, I am curious how many DJ's are on the forum that were around before CD's graced the booth, let alone mp3's, laptops, and software. So any old school turntableists, or other DJs that were 18 and the Golden Age of Hip Hop was still in it's prime?

...same here...when i started, just getting the tracks matched was half the fun or more...and, i remember how much i was amazed when sick djs would have multiple tracks going, acapellas, etc., all by ear. still pretty sick. different time now, with incredible new possibilities, but i'll always think that a dj who can beatmatch is money.

and I still carry cd back-ups!
