    Default VCI Good Power Circuit

    Hey all,

I've had a minor breakthrough with one of the problems with the VCI dropping out. Recently at the club i had a nice quiet night so i relaxed and kicked back and played around with things a bit. All of a sudden the VCI dropped out a rediculous amount of times. I had to keep switching it on and off so i payed attention to what i was doing and discovered that the smoke machine was plugged into the same powerboard and everytime it kicked in a different way the vci dropped out. So obviously the power was creating enough of a surge to make it drop out. I then disconnected the smoke and put it on another board and didnt have a single drop out all night. I'll try this again in the coming week and see if i have any trouble as i still need to find out if my soundcard is packing it in or not.

It would make no sence at all if the VCI where powered by the laptop. So it must have been powered via a power adaptor
