Default Laptop compatability w/ Indigo soundcard

I have an Apple G4 PowerBook (circa 2005). I assume that the slot on the side is for a sound card? Any idea if my laptop is compatable? I beleive the Echo Indigo requires a Type II card bus?

Sorry, I'm not too tech saavy (obviously) and I'd like to get a soundcard ordered pretty quick.

    THANKS!

Your pc will rather have a PCMCIA cardbus or a ExpressCard cardbus - they arnt just for soundcards, you can put all sorts of other attachments in them - generally most things that you can cards that you can put inside a tower pc will have a PCMCIA or ExpressCard equivilent.

I dont think there is an ExpressCard Echo Indigo, just a PCMCIA version.

So when buying stuff you need to know which type of cardbus your laptop has, and what type of card you are buying and make sure they are the same type.

The Echo Indigo DJ will work on a PowerBook G4. I've already seen it in action with LIVE, sound quality is good coming from the 1/8" jacks.
