eks otus?

I had an otus (there original model, kinda like today's Otus Plus) and I liked it a lot at first, but I sold it later for a couple of reasons: I didn't need the built-in sound card, because I had an Audio4 and it sounded better. The touch pitch strip thingy was way to unprecise to actually use it properly, and I needed that because I play back2back a lot with vinyl or cd based DJs. The number of functions it offered was good, but for the price I paid back then I was still dissatisfied. On the plus side, the visual feedback was brilliant and (with some trial and error) highly customizable. And it does look kinda impressive in a club setting.

As some others here, I still like my Denon SC2000 better, because it's more compact, a lot cheaper and has a better pitch fader.

I still love my otus and don't think I'll ever get rid of it. What speakers were you using with your soundcard? I find the sound superb from the otus using it with studio monitors. As for the touch strip at first it was dodgy but the new tsi for it makes it work smoothly. i have no problem anymore with it and I beatmatch with a freind on against his cdj800 fine. I might evan get another otus and a 4 channel xone mixer. like this

I would just like to replace the touch buttons with arcade ones. Anybody know if this is possible? don't mind hacking away at it to make them fit. just worried about the signal transmitted. are they the same?

What speakers were you using with your soundcard?

Wasn't really a matter of speakers. Not saying that the otus sound quality is bad, it isn't. It's actually quite good. It's just that when comparing it directly to the Audio4DJ, the latter sounded just that little bit clearer, more precise.

Dunno about the acade button mod. I personally think it might spoil the looks a bit.

yes, but that is EKS_DriverPack_WIN_1.9.2013, its for win 7

need EKS_DriverPack_Win_30.1.2014 <---- is 4 win 8.1, and works on win 10
