    ideally you have your OS on a 60gb SSD, and all your music and stuff on a HDD! thats what i have on my desktop it works a dream, shame you cant do it with laptops!

    Of course you can do that with a laptop, use the optibay!

    have you opened up the VCI? loose wire perhaps?

    getting all the music on the HD is the way to go, least complicated the setup the better... i would NEVER gig out with an external with all my tunes on there. i know people who do and thats cool but that scares me.
