    Default Question?

I was wondering if anyone on this forum has a Acer Netbook because I want to know if you can set a background on to the Desktop. Does anyone know if I can do this and If I can how can I?

Huh, I googled it for you and apparently you can't change the desktop on the version of Windows 7 that comes with.

No... It is a Windows 7 Starter Edition Netbook...

Windows 7 Starter does not include:

Aero Glass, meaning you can only use the “Windows Basic” or other opaque themes. It also means you do not get Taskbar Previews or Aero Peek.
Personalization features for changing desktop backgrounds, window colors, or sound schemes.
The ability to switch between users without having to log off.
    Multi-monitor support.
    DVD playback.
Windows Media Center for watching recorded TV or other media.
Remote Media Streaming for streaming your music, videos, and recorded TV from your home computer.
    Domain support for business customers.
XP Mode for those that want the ability to run older Windows XP programs on Windows 7.

So I am a little confused. So I can change the Wallpaper? And what is the difference from the starter edition and Regular edition?

See my previous post... you can NOT change the wallpaper.

To get the 'unstarter' version is as easy as buying a copy at your local computer store or online... You have a few options but only two matter (Win 7 Home Premium or Win 7 Pro)...
