I know for a fact that this topic has been covered before but for some reason I can't get it to show up in my search so dont hate...........Anyways I want to know what programs people are using to tag their demo cd's with? I personally am looking for a simple program where I can label each tracks artist and title as well as include my Logo on the album art.

There's lots of tagging threads, but none that I can remember for specifically tagging mix CD's. 2nd for iTunes.

Dont have I tunes...I used to just edit in media player in windows but the results sucked....it would really only work if you played the cd in media player. I know people were talking about different programs they used that were almost dedicated to doing this.

Ok if it comes down to it I'll get I-tunes. Just was looking for something simpler since I don't have it and I dont really want it on my pc.

    Eh? Why not?

Just cos you download the 75MB file and install it, you don't have to use it as your primary music player. You can just set Windows Media Player (or whatever else you prefer) as your default media player.

Just create a folder somewhere on your PC and put duplicate copies of your mix albums/ep in there and then only import that folder into iTunes. That way, only what you want goes in there and you can tag them all up as you want.

iTunes is by far the easiest programmes to do this. On Mac and PC.
Ableton 9.7.5, Native Instruments Komplete Ultimate 11, MOTU 828 Mk2, Nektar Impact LX61+, Ableton Push, Native Instruments Kore 2, and a random selection of soft synths and sample libraries.

are you taking a giant one track mix and wanna split it up into different tracks so when you burn it they all have the different tracks labled when they come in but still have the transitions and whatnot?

    audacity?

nah man pretty straight forward. just checking if you had it down to that far before you were gonna label em.

artwork you can drag and drop to a batch of them and do the same thing with any other "simmilar" tracks.
