Anyone use a keyboard when DJ'ing live?

Hey guys.

Thinkin about having a midi fighter a keyboard as my little DJ set up. Maybe a MPK25.

Anyone use a keyboard live and/or know any positives and drawbacks?

Leme know.

yeah i use an oxygen w/ uc33e... works for me.

one thing to watch out for when you're mapping the controls is to map your Deck Play/Pause or Play/Cup to the black keys if you're using the keyboard for deck transport functions.

when they're mapped to the white keys you can easily hit the wrong key and stop the track that's playing, or start the wrong deck if you're not watching what you're doing (drunk/high).
