Who thinks The Sync feature on older Traktor versions is better than the new Traktor Scratch Pro 2? I've compared the two and it seems like the other versions hold it down more crisp when analyzed!

I haven't notice a difference. Are you using Tempo Sync or Beat Sync?

I think my Traktor 2 is on Beat Sync! what i've noticed is with traktor 1.2.7 , most of the files once analyzed Sync spot on and need no adjustment, where as with Version 2...some of the files re-analyzed in 2 need sum beatgrid adjustments.
ok just checked and its on Tempo Sync!
I had the same issue, i was'nt a fan until i found out they just gave you even more options, and now i use tempo sync often so i can tweak the phase of each track to how i like it!

The one that works the best for you. Try them both and you make that decision.
I'll use my better judgement, and answer that when I am NOT d-runk.

haha the beat sync is that one that keeps everything synced pretty tightly, its really good for mixing EDM, IMO. Beat sync is also what the previous traktor used. Temo sync allows you to play around a little bit more.

The "sync" feature is exactly as accurate. And now has expanded functionality due to two different types of "sync".
I always manually beat-grid my tracks, so I really cannot speak to the accuracy of Traktor's automated beat-gridding algorithm.
Traktor 1 sucked at beat-gridding DnB.
Traktor 2 sucks at beat-gridding DnB.
*shrug*
Do your homework.
Either beat match by ear and get over it.
OR:
Beat grid everything at home, before you ever play, and then trust the "sync" button all you want.
But, if you are too technologically advanced to be bothered to use your ears to align the phase of multiple audio sources, and you are too lazy to do some basic homework, software is NOT going to make up the difference.
