    Default DDM4000 / DJM800 Knobs

    Hello,

Would DJM 800 EQ knobs work on DDM 4000 mixer?

Just curious, the DJM 800 are better quality

I am actually in the process of acquiring enough replacement pioneer pots to solder into my DDM4000.

The ONLY thing I do not like about my DDM4k is the "feel" of the knobs...

    Heh.

Will you be blogging and some updates on your progress

Yeah thats why I asked.. I hate the hard plastic feel, I prefer the DJM 800 ones but I dont really want to spend £800 for a bedroom mixer.

I will probably post some pics up of the process and such up here

But its gonna take a WHILE, a whole lot of soldering to do, definitely not for the faint of heart

In case you are mistaking what I mean, I am going to be unsoldering all of the "potentiometers" out of my Behringer (not just the plastic piece you turn with your finger, the whole knob assemply) and soldering in replacements for a DJM800.
