Thanks for pointing this out.
My conclusion remains that this isn't the future of DJing.
The purpose of the video was to show that touch-interfaces are more than just ordinary user-interfaces with bigger buttons. At least they can be if there's thought put into what can be achieved with this new technology.

Edit: Mr. Smithson contacted me himself and made some comments. I won't do another review but I'll add some annotations and add information to both blog-posts.
