Sapphires is great (decks.co.uk). You can try everything out, they're friendly and pretty knowledgeable. It's on the edgeware road in cricklewood.

Saphires (decks.co.uk) is far and away my favorite... plus it's round the corner from me

West End DJ is easier to access from anywhere as it's in town right near tottenham court road tube.

But i think they're morons in there. To be honest i'd only go by what people on this forum say now, i would trust any salesman really.

They are cool in Saphires though

It's just under an hour's drive for me to get to Sapphires but it's definitely my favourite DJ shop by far. I always end up spending hours and hours in there talking about gear, and inevitably end up buying stuff as well cos they're so damn friendly and the range is great.

Plus they were the only place in the country where i could find a black VCI-100, and that makes them heroes in my book.

I also got my X1 there. I walked in, said, I'd like to try an X1 please, they said sure and set me up on a PC running Traktor. I loved it, bought it. So nice to feel like people actually know what they're talking about, and that they'll just hand something over for you to try.

They have a great returns policy too.

    tl;dr, Sapphires rules.

cheers guys. in terms of advice from the shop i mainly just want to make sure i have the right wires and stuff like that rather than help choosing the main product. some place where they have time to spend helping out is great.

sapphires does look amazing but its really far away, i'll probs check out westend Dj
