    Default custom speaker help!

    hey guys/girls.
i need some help, im building this little speaker system that can be used as portable ipod speakers. the speaker i found was this

    http://www.parts-express.com/pe/psho...number=289-127

a nice little 2" speaker. However, i have no idea how i would cover that for protection, because i can not find a 2" speaker grill...

    so my question is...
does anyone know where i could obtain a 2" speaker grill? or if i cant, what to use to protect it, but that would also look nice.
    Thank you!
    Glen

you probably will have to custom fabricate something...have you ever used fiberglass or good at wood working?

what are you going to use to power it?

    thank you

just go to your hardware store i bet you can find multiple options to cover those ie screens, mesh, they even have grills, everything may need cutting or what not but id give that a shot.

Also at the hardware store check in the drawer pull section and you might find something that would work and look nice like maybe 2 of these:

What ever works. I used to visit that site religiously but I got tired of tearing down and rebuilding my car audio system every six months. Now I'm doing that with DJ gear it seems. I might have a problem.
