    In a word?

    No.

"Dance Culture" has been assaulted by a great many things, since long before the age of "MIDI".

Poor taste, placing profit above all else, and a general "blind eye" towards sound quality is destroying dance culture.

    In my opinion at least.

The difference is more now people see them, while in the past, they just listen to from a a vinyl pusher.

Oh well. Endless stories again.. what's next after controllers & Sync btw?!?

Link bait!!! Write an article like this and get people to link to it and get visitors.. I think that's what everyones doing at this point. I'm close to launching a new "scene" site for my local area, I'll have to remember to write something about controllers/sync/etc to quickly get hits. lol

MIDI has been in the scene since the 70's and our culture owes a lot to it, just saying.
