    Default TSP2 Waveform analysis

Hey all. I know the basics of TSP 2's colored wave forms when translating them into frequencies but could somebody please break this down in detail?

I feel like there are some inconsistencies (or maybe just something I don't understand) per song. Sometimes it seems that the waveforms even take on a 3Dish form depending on the track. Do they have more detail if the song is of higher quality? I have also noticed that sometimes the waveforms are blurry.

Either way i'd like to hear feedback

No, it's just frequency dependent. Low to high follows a rainbow.

Coincidentally it also follows the frequency of the light low to high…red is low-frequency, blue is higher frequency. And I think they kinda left out Indigo and Violet either as an artifact of their math or because they thought it'd make the interface look fruity.

Fruity not as in a pejorative for homosexuals, fruity as in the fruit-named Apple colored laptops from a few years ago.

    Okay, not really.

A higher quality file has more data in it so the same track at two different bit rates will probably look different. I think the different would have to be drastic though to really be able to tell.

It depends on the quality of the mix/mastering too and how busy a track is.
