I assume you mean the touch strip?

From what I understand, it works as a scroll through the track, similar to a CDJ jog wheel. Then you can use pinch-to-zoom to narrow in on drop points within a track.

Pretty sure that's all it does in Traktor. But useful if you don't really scratch or use jogs and you still have the track searc/scroll feature but 8 cue buttons instead of a jog.

From what I've read on the interwebzzz it will be released at the end of July beginning of August. Hopefully sooner rather than later though!
