my proof of concept works pretty well with keys on the keyboard, just need to wait for the controller to come and redo my mapping for the buttons

I have news for UK twitch buyers!

According to Digital Village's Novation rep, the first shipment of Twitches to arrive in the UK will be here on the 6th of August.

That's when they're physically arriving in the country, I'd expect to add a week to that for distribution to stores.

I talked to a rep at Sweetwater yesterday and he said they would be getting them in on the 5th of August and would be shipping them the same day.

are you just making the loop bigger and smaller? You could do that with a rotary much easier. The X1 and S4 are built that way. The slicer in Itch allows you to jump from section to section within the sliced loop.

haze324 - no, the loop size is fixed at 1 beat throughout

what my mapping does is have 8 buttons for each of the beats in an 8 beat loop and by pressing any of them you jump to that slice. its very similar functionality to the itch slicer.

you might have been thrown off by the green loop markers - they move with the slice because of how i had to implement it.

the changes to the numbers down the bottom has to do with beat jumps because i use beat jumps to move around the loop based on where you are right now. ie if you're at beat 1, and you want to get to beat 8, you need to make 7 jumps. if you're at 4 and you want to get to 1, you go 3 jumps backwards. etc
