    Basically it's another case of Serato being a dick and limiting their software.

    I understand they only want it to be used with certain controllers so they can make money off the controllers but there's no reason not to allow 1 official controller and complimentary unofficial ones.

    it is a business model but also remember once you buy a controller you get updates on software without having to pay again.

    This has been brought up on the Serato forum many times. If you want to use 6 controllers with 20 super buttons combo then use Traktor it already exist. Why create another software just like it. Itch is designed for different type of DJ. Different solution for different folks.

    Because currently the complex midi controller part of the market is a monopoly. Competition encourages innovation and better products for us.
