Default Has anyone tried a usb DAC?

I'm curious if anyone has tried using A USB dac similar to this

    http://cgi.ebay.com/Gigawork-24-192-...#ht_7301wt_996

If so did you run into any latency problems? noise? clicks?

    What drivers did you use?

I am really curious to try using my laptops headphone jack for monitoring and a DAC like this for my output.

can't help you, but i always wondered what these do and/or what the benefits are. sound quality? or does it take cpu usage away from your computer?

The benefits are high end sound quality. This dac has a lot of mods online and can be made to sound very good without downing a huge amount of money. Just google gigawork fit USB dac.
