To be fair I wouldnt really call that hard house. Not surethat even has a genre!! I was thinking more along the lines of early 2000 Lisa lashes, tidy boys, karim etc. Either way it's all shit!!

@cooper - exactly what I meant by hard house. Still going, mainly seems confined to Brighton and sweaty clubs in Vauxhall now

There is still a bit of a scene up her for it as well!! A bar I used to have a residency in pretty much only ever has hardstyle nights now. Ruined the place!! Don't get me wrong i used to rave the fuck out of hard house - we used to have an amazing club up here called The Void that hosted a night called Golden!! Some of the best nights of my life. I think my music tastes have matured as I've got older!!

Lock 'N' Load - Blow Ya Mind not hard house, ur nuts. Its one of the tracks that caused the hard dance scene to explode in the early 2000's.

Its was on loads of hard house compilations, all over mixmag, played at every hard house event I went to for years.

Musically its got everything the later stuff has offbeat bass, screaming hoover sounds, minimal drums and big snare/synth build ups.

Your right thought it is shit. Was cool back in the day but that was many moons ago now.

Anyways a wee bit off topic so....To me it seems daft not to use all the tools you have at your disposal if they benefit you in some way. I can play my set on just about anything you put infront of me but given the choice ill use my setup coz I can do more with it.

Playing vinyl bores me. put record on, start in right place, beatmatch (oh all of about 10 secs work) twist some knobs (try not to look to bored) pat myself on the back for another fab mix and start again. YAWN

With my current setup I dont wait for the perfect place to mix I make it.

Sync on = hands free for effects, loops and working the crowd etc.
