Tbh doing an efx combo and beat juggling and making it all work together is alot more of a skill than matching 2 tracks up and a hell of alot more interesting

as pony said if you ain't scratching or doing crazy routines i dont see the point in just using DVS just to fit in

So yeah, 90% of the time :P

I prefer a bad DJ who slams everything to any other kind of bad DJ. At least the amount of time he's doing it for in comparison to the amount of time he's playing at track is minimal.

    haha i agree!!

i personally cant stand beatjuggling!! id much rather a shit beatmatcher to a shit beat juggler!! - if i HAD to choose!!! Nothing wrong with just mixing 2 nice tracks!

And if anyone HAS to respond to controller haters a quick sharp FUCK OFF cant hurt!

If you cant beat them, join'em. Show them that you can rock the house on any format. CDJs, 1200's, DVS and Midi. Then they will leave you alone.

it's all good. Whatever floats your boat.

I love my controllers, using them is fun as shit....but I've yet to see a controller performance that rivals a good DMC routine.

A few clubs in my local town in ireland used to allow laptop dj's play untill one night there were two dj's off a main radio station that were getting fairly well payed to peform that night and as the manager went by them in this pub/club the music stopped... What they were doing was checking there facebooks and forgot they were sposed to be djing which got laptops pretty much banned from the town after that.
