Let me start by saying that I am a huge fan of Daft Punk. My earliest memory of Electronic Music is watching the music video for "One More Time" being played on some television channel. There's something wonderful about their music, and a real soul behind it that is lost in much of the electronic music made today.
To get a taste of old school for some inspiration, I decided to watch the "One More Time" Music video just for fun. I did so, and at the end, I craved more of the storyline set up by the video, so I googled the order of Daft Punk Music Videos and lo and behold, I found Interstella 5555.
You can watch the full thing on Google Video. Be warned that it's about 60 minutes of Daft Punk music without any dialogue, so unless you truly love Daft Punk, I suggest breaking it up into sections. Still, without any dialogue, the plot moves very well. I thoroughly enjoyed spending my night watching Daft Punk music videos from over 10 years ago for a night instead of studying for my History Exam in two days.
Below I've posted the videos all in order. I've also posted a link to the full google video version at the very bottom of the page. I hope you all can enjoy it as much as I did.
(Note that the 480p versions are choppy, so watch them in 360p.)

I guess analyzing it, it seems to be a sort of description of the corrupt record labels who will go the moon (sorry, I had to) to find talent that will bring gold and platinum records. Of course these companies are represented by the Crescendoll's manager, who through the ages has accumulated his wealth by finding talent from a parallel universe and bringing it to earth. Whether or not this was a purposeful inclusion of this theme of greed is up in the air, but knowing the creativity of Daft Punk, I'm sure that it was brought up at some point in the production process. I really enjoyed this video that can only be described as a beautifully produced extended music video. I was moved to tears at points, especially at the voyager's death, and when I wasn't crying, I was grinning from ear to ear. I hope you all enjoyed it as well.
