    +1 for Hercules RMX, thing is solid as a rock, could beat someone to death with it if you wanted and it would still run.

    Though, take it from someone whose collective group of friends has been through 3 different controllers, if you think DJ'ing is for you, splash now, or you will regret it later. I was fortunate enough that Guitar Center (yes, I bought my RMX and GC) let me return mine so I could get an S4, or I would be sitting here with an extra ($350?) out of pocket.

    Get a Hercules RMX. Check out ebay. You can get them cheap. I've learned so much on mine. Starting to grow out of it. I need buttons for hot cues and looping and filters. But you won't get there for several months.
