    I'm surprised they went for the FCB10 as the foot controller. That vs a McMillen softstep, I know which one I think is further out of the box.

    And no twitch???

    Yeah, strange stuff being listed there. The (imo) quite useless Nocturn, but no UC-33e (which is widely used, but definitely doesn't conform to the "standard-dj-controller-layout")?

    I think the nocturn's a very good controller for production, since automap works very well for VSTs. But as far as DJing is concerned, I don't think it has the build quality to stand up to hard use.

    I don't think it's meant to be a de facto list, as already mentioned there are loads of contenders that could have been included, enough for a whole new list.

    Perhaps more about encouraging thinking outside the box, rather than just reaching for the regular two decks and a mixer affairs.

    Right. So a CDJ imitator, a mixer imitator, an mpc imitator and ableton clip grid controllers defy convention?

    I thought there might be something interesting here like some of the weirder faderfox gear, BCR, livid code, etc.
