Default DJTechToolers in Sweden, Berlin, Paris

So I'm going to be doing some traveling in the coming weeks, and I'm fortunate enough to have a DJ gig overseas. Apart from the tourist stuff I'll no doubt be doing I hope to hit up some unique record stores (yes the real vinyl type if possible) as well as a club or two.

The gig is at the Clandestino Festival in Goteborg (aka Gothenburg) Sweden http://clandestinofestival.org/2011/?lang=en -- there's nothing on the website yet about it but the gig is Saturday night, so any Swedish DJTT folks who are planning to attend the festival let me know! I'll also be in Norkkoping the following week discussing digital DJ culture at a cultural studies conference; hit me up if you are interested in the more academic side of things... And please post here if you think of anything I shouldn't miss while I am in Sweden!

The plan is then for us to go to Berlin and then Paris for a few days each; we've got the usual tourist books and stuff but anyone from or near these places have any tips on anything I shouldn't miss? DJ-related or not,.... but I definitely want to check out at least one club event in Berlin (we'll be there probably June 19-22), and I would love to find some really cool vinyl record stores in any of these places. I wish we were staying longer but time and money are unfortunately tighter than I'd like; I'm really lucky to be doing this at all!

What kind of music are you looking for? I could probably give you a couple tips regarding Berlin

I was going to say the Kompakt store, but after looking it's in Cologne. Not sure what your schedule's like or how hard it would be to get there, but if I was going to Germany I would try and check that place out.

    Here's a few suggestions

If you're looking for record stores the obvious choice in Berlin is Hardwax. There are a couple other significant shops there but I'm no local and can't remember their names.
In Paris you'll want to check out Techno Import, My Electro Kitchen and possibly Toolbox as well (they're more into harder stuff).
As for the clubs take a look at the events on residentadvisor.net

@3heads - electronic of any kind; or anything else fun!

@Remington + Bumtsch - We'll be in Paris 6/20-3 ; a meetup is possible though I think I'll have less time for digging in Paris than Berlin... I have no phone while I'm traveling but will be checking email djproben at gmail dot com ... or add Professor Ben on facebook put djtechtools in the message Pick a cool spot and a time for best results as I'm sure things will be chaotic...

I've been putting places on google my maps so I'm starting a list... Hardwax and Rocksteady among others, and we're staying right near them! Won't make it to cologne as I'm only there a couple days too.

    Thanks for the tips!
