I'd be interested, though my time is extremely limited so I'd like to go first if possible

Taken form the International Mix Train Collective Websit

    What is a Mix Train?

A Mix Train is a recorded mix or “mix tape” that is created by multiple DJs who each record part of the set.

    How are Mix Trains organized?

A Classic Mix Train will be comprised of 6 slots with each slot lasting around 10 minutes. There are other types of the trains with different numbers of slots and durations. Once all the slots are filled the train begins. In some cases DJs can request a particular slot, in other cases slots are simply assigned by the Administrators.

More info can be found here. http://themixtrain.wordpress.com/how-to-and-faq/

I'm also new to all this, if we get it off the ground it will be my first mix train also.

Of course, as soon as we get a few more people involved we will get this train started.
What sort of drum and bass you all thinking of throwing into the mix?

Personally I'm not bothered, we need a few more people to get it off the ground when we have all participants we can have a vote on style if need be.
