    Default Is this reasonable?

Someone nearby is willing to sell me two CDJ 400s and a Xone 22 mixer with a coffin for $1300. I'll be able to check the condition.

Do you guys think this price is fair if its in good condition?

Note the included coffin - which new would cost me 200.

Also i dont have to pay shipping or tax, so that would make each CDJ 400 bucks about instead of 700 new + 70 tax each.

I definitely want something that can play independent of a laptop, but what price would you have offered for 2 CDJ 400's a xone 22 a coffin and no shipping/tax?

Just btw, on ebay each deck is selling for around 450-500 used, so are you sure 800 - 900 for two decks is really that bad?

that's an OK price, nothing spectacular, seems pretty standard for two cdjs and a 2 ch mixer. If you can push it down to 1k that's more of a bargain.

It's reasonable, but honestly I'd even say it's a bit on the high side unless they are in almost pristine condition.

I'd say CDJ-400's should go for about 400-500 used. And the mixer? Well, that's about $300 brand new, and should go for about $200 or so if it's used.

If you're getting a coffin for it as well, that's also something to consider.

I'd try talking him down to around $1000 though, any more than that and I really would consider buying new. Since the CDJ-400's are technically discontinued, some places (like GC) have had great discounts on them. So it might be worth buying new rather than close to new price for used.

If you can't talk him down, I'd walk away.

where do you see the discount at GC?

It seems to me they sell at 699 each, which is about the same as the cdj 350

Go in there and check them out, rather than just looking on the website. I think last time I checked at the local one near me they were going for about 519 each brand new. But it's one of those things that's reflected in store and not on the website I think, and is worth running down and checking out at least.

Nevermind GC trips are always good fun thinking about spending money you don't (or potentially do?) have.
