scrolling back & forth through hotcues in play mode

im having a problem with scrolling through hotcues while a track is playing

i can scroll forward but cant scroll backwards - it just keeps going to start point of the loop that im currently on - the only way i can scroll back through the hotcues is by pausing the track

i ve tried all sorts of midi configurations on my midi controller and also key mapping it to the mac keyboard ...

help !!! takk

that's what happens, though. If you jump to previous cue point after it's playing it's going to go to the previous cue point. You might want to build shortcuts or something for "Select HotCue".

i have been trying to find a way to scroll back and forth through select hotcues but had no luck - i dont want to midi up 8 buttons/keys to select each individual hotcues - im sure there must be a way

im just messing around with it now

Try double mapping previous and have a modifier if the deck is playing or not.

The second previous button will only work when the track is playing so when the deck is stopped its not jumping back two at a time.

No guarentees it will work though, i dont change cues like that so i was just throwing up an idea.
