Default Sennheiser HD25-1 II louder on the right side?

    Hey ppl,

Have you ever feel that your Sennheiser HD25-1 II is louder on the right side?

I've actually thinked that I had some hearing loss on my left ear but I've changed the side of the cups and I get the same feel, the left ear has louder then the right.
I pretty sure that the right side, the one that has the cable, is about 60~80% louder then the other.

    Have you ever felt this?
What do you think I should do?
Am I with a defect on the unit?

I just love my sennies, don't want to lose them

Never had that - i've had the slightly dodgy connection on one on the earpieces though (which is solved by pulling it out and pushing it back in again)

By earpieces do you mean the red and the black at the cups?

If you've got hearing loss on the left side then the right should still be louder when you wear them back to front

Yeah, but I've said that I've changed the sides and the lowder side changed too, so I have no hearling loss (thank god )

If this helps, I'm using the headphone with P2 connection and without any adapter pluged into my laptop's headphone out...

I'm glad you posted this because I thought I had hearing loss damage in my left ear. Did you see if it was an issue with your soundcard though? I plugged the headphones directly into my laptop and I didn't notice a difference (I even flipped headphones, did panning, lowered volume until I couldn't hear, etc.).

Check that your pan is centered.

Yup, exactly that. The black connection is sometimes dodgy. But it's easy to fix, just reseat the connector.

I did exactly the same as you and I still have the problem... I'm glad that you posted here, now I know that I'm not crazy at all.

The problem that you have is on the side of the cable or the other?

I've tested in my soundcard with the p2-p10 adapter provided, notebook, ipad and still same issue...

I've tested on winamp too, the same...

My pan is centered, was the first thing that I looked
