    Default Aaahhhhh help !!!

Hey everyone I need your help !!! I have a huge gig coming up at a new mega club ... It's only a 40 minute set from midnight to 12 45 ... I know it's short but some important people are gonna be there and this gig is either going to make me or break me !!! So I'm asking for your help on some new songs with kind of a techno / tech house genre ... The DJ's that are gonna be there usely play hard stuff !!! Please help thank u !!

if you've obtained a rather big gig its hard to blag your way in... surely you got it by them hearing some of your own stuff so why not stick to what you normally play since thats prob why you're booked???

You can't work out what you're going to play until you verify what you've been booked to play.

'Hard stuff' doesn't adequately describe what the other DJs are playing.

Just do you. If you spin the tracks that YOU enjoy and are in the zone and ripping it up, they will notice.

It depends what they're expecting. Did you get the gig using one of the following methods:

    1) They heard a mix of yours = play your own stuff
    2) A mate recommended you = ask your mate for advice
    3) You told them 'I'm a DJ!' and got the gig = ask the venue for advice

More info can only help, not hinder
